Nida light is located on Urbo kalnas that is situated in the resort Nida on the shore of Kuršių marios, 10 miles NE of Rybachiy Light.

The frontier between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Lithuania is situated approximately 1.7 miles S of Nida Light.

Caution: Oil drilling platform with a racon is contructed approximately 14.5 miles W of Nida Light. Submarines cables and pipelines extend from the platform towards the shore in a SSW direction.
